Beland is proud to offer an exclusive line of
affordable modern furnishings featuring clean
lines and thoughtfully balanced proportions -
perfect for cozy urban spaces. The line consists
of quality designer tables and chairs ideal for
any room. Each piece is hand-crafted in Portsmouth,
NH.
Furniture designer + maker, Geroge draws influences
from Japanese, Danish Modern, and Modern furniture.
Non-furniture influences are primarily 19th century
industrial.
George grew up in a 19th century mill town as
the son of a farmer. As a result of developing
an early awareness of trees, he is very connected
to native species, and prefers to use them in
his furniture. "There is great satisfaction
in knowing that my work will outlive me, and be
passed on for future generations".
