MATT WAJDA

River City Furnituremaking is an artisan owned and operated fine woodworking business, creating custom, contemporary designs and traditional forms using time-honored craftmanship.

The artisan, Matthew David Wajda is a graduate of the prestigious North Bennet Street School’s (NBSS) Cabinet and Furniture Making program, a two-year, full-time, hands-on fine woodworking program.

While at the NBSS “I learned how to work with my hands, my head, and my heart,” Matt says. Matt has been specializing in crafting thoughtful and functional pieces of hand-made museum-quality furniture and architectural elements for over ten years. In addition, Matt teaches several workshops at the NBSS.  

*Matt has been selected to participate in the third Overnight Art - a temporary, outdoor, public art competition sponsored by Art-Speak. (Project to be unveiled in the coming months)
